In Wi-Fi mode, it works like other speakers in the Sonos family. It gives you the same easy access to a multitude of audio streaming services, your digital music collection, and more via a smooth, well-designed mobile app. The speaker even has built-in microphones for Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands.
Switch to the Move to Bluetooth mode, and you can use this portable speaker out on the deck or on the beach, beyond the reach of your Wi-Fi network. Just pair your phone with the Move, then fire up a music app like Spotify®, Pandora®, or TIDAL.
Ready for the outdoors
The Sonos Move is dustproof and water-resistant, so it can withstand raindrops or snowfall. Its built-in rechargeable battery can deliver up to 11 hours of playback. Of course, if you leave it on its charging base, the speaker can play all day long. You can even wirelessly pair two Sonos Moves for stereo sound. And it has a built-in handle, so it's easy to bring along.
